Maple’s Story

Boa Constrictor Empress

This beautiful girl was surrendered to our rescue and we are so glad she was. Maple had been living in a makeshift cabinet without substrate or proper heating. She had burns up and down her body from touching the halogen light in her enclosure (she was trying to absorb the little heat she could). When she arrived she was immediately moved into a custom enclosure with substrate, branches to climb on, and a water dish for her to bath in.

Maple is living a luxurious life with lots of time out of her enclosure to explore her owners house. She loves to be handled and to be in high places. She is by no means head shy and is very active. This amazing boa has found her forever home.
