Cedar’s Story

Nickname Little Red

Cedar is a beautiful dog that came to us from Our Last Hope Animal Rescue. He was surrendered to them with 13 other dogs that had come from a hoarding house. Little Cedar was not in good shape when he arrived here, he wouldn’t allow anyone to put a leash on him let alone pet him. With some simple rules and boundaries I was able to build a strong relationship built on trust and respect. Within the first week Cedar was walking in a perfect heel. He happily took the path of least resistance and started to follow the pack leaders (us).

In just 4 short weeks cedar found his forever home where he has space to run and play with 2 other dogs. He is gaining confidence everyday. He gets walked by his 7 year old momma. She is over the moon about her new best friend and is dedicated to filling his life with joy.
