Bailey is a very much a puppy, he is full of energy and loves to run around with the other dogs. When he gets the wiggles he can be hard to control so it is important to keep him in check. Bailey is a wonderful dog that just wants to be loved but it’s important to know when and where affection is best given as you don’t want to be reinforcing bad behaviours.

Though Bailey loves other dogs he is fearful of people. He needs owners that will not force introductions and will respect him by taking things slow. Unfortunately, Bailey had a rough start to life and was neglected for the first 5 months of his life. Because of this he needs owners that will be patient to gain his trust and respect. Once he trusts you it is easy to correct his unwanted behaviours towards other people but it takes take and confidence.

Bailey is now in a wonderful home on Texada island with my new mastiff brother. He likes to stick to him brothers side when he feels unsafe or uncertain. He is learning to be a confident dog and concurring the world with every step he takes.
